    I loved about a fourth of the essays in this book liked about half and hated a fourth Most of the stories are uirky heartfelt excellently written and engaging A few are whiny drivel but those are the exceptions My biggest uibble with this book is the structureorder of the essays The editor groups them by stages or categories of love seeking finding breeding staying leaving and bound yeah that last category doesn't flow as well Because the p

    This is a highly enjoyable book for anyone who has loved been loved been dumped or has dumped someone It is for moms and dads who love their kids unconditionally and for relatives with a special relationship with nieces and nephews It is also for children with strained relationships with their mom or dad In essence this book is for everyone These are very short little essays four to five pages in length that tell of true life situ

    This is a good book to pick up and put back down every few days You don't need to sit down and read the whole book rather its a collection of love story essays submitted to the NY Times and can be read in short bursts It's not a MUST read but it's light hearted and interesting to see the modern ways that love comes to be in big cities via the internet etc It was recently turned into an Prime Original Series which is cool to see stories come

    I love the modern love column in NYT but a number of these stories didn't standout There are still a handful of gems Perhaps the later submissions before this went to print are just higher uality
