    It is great when one is able to read a biography when it is not also a hagiography This is the case with Pollock's 'D L Moody Moody without Sankey'It took me a while to get used to the author's style but once I did I was able to see that it reflected the character of his subject This is certainly within bounds a 'warts and all' bio
